Geoscience Earth & Marine Services, Inc., (GEMS) is a geophysical and geotechnical engineering consulting group providing professional services to a number of industries. Our clients span major and independent oil and gas companies, government agencies, survey companies, other industry consulting groups, and individuals. GEMS works together with local and international clients on projects that include the offshore regions of North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The GEMS group consists of highly-qualified professional personnel who are attentive to client needs and who will perform services in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner. GEMS was founded in early 1997 and has grown over the years to include more than 30 employees, an ever-growing list of clients, and a portfolio of over 1300 projects (and counting).

GEMS has been involved with a majority of the deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico and numerous offshore projects elsewhere in the world. Our services are continually expanding to accommodate new challenges and better meet our client's needs.

GEMS has a professional staff with experience in multi-disciplinary project management. Our experience in field services allows us to manage every phase of project development, from establishing the scope of work and selecting the most appropriate data acquisition techniques, to interpretation and implementation. We can offer unbiased recommendations regarding field data acquisition since we do not compete in the data acquisition market. We are in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. Our history of repeat business and continued participation in multi-phase projects proves our reputation for quality work.

The educational background of our professional staff ranges from Bachelor to Doctorate levels. We employ registered professional engineers, geologists, and geoscientists. GEMS sets a high standard for HSE, as well as requires and promotes continuing education for all employees. GEMS staff members have written numerous papers, presented at trade shows, and published in professional journals. We have a close working relationship with several surveying companies, pipeline and construction engineering companies, and other industry consulting organizations. We use a variety of the most recent PC-based geotechnical engineering design, GIS, and seismic interpretation packages available.
