| The Gulf of Mexico GeoForum was held at Marathon Oil Company on October 23, 2003 starting at 1:00 P.M. Three presentations were made. The first presentation was a video presented by Tony George from C&C Technologies on "AUV Investigations of Deepwater Gas Venting Sites, Mud Volcano's and Large Pockmarks". The second presentation was a presented by Adrian Digby and is a follow-up to the paper he gave at the May GeoForum and contains some interesting survey/borehole comparisons for shallow flow/hydrate predictions and a short study on swelling clays in the Caspian using 4D wireline logging. The third presentation was by TAMU's Efthymios Tripsanas on the sedimentological history of the Bryant Canyon area during the last 140 ky. It is entitled "Evolution of Depositional and Slope Instability Processes on the Bryant Canyon Area, Northwest Gulf of Mexico. "
